Ahmed Elkouk
Ahmed Elkouk is a PhD. student in the department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Michigan State University. He has experience in hydrologic impacts of climate change, including studying soil moisture response to atmospheric warming across transitional environments. Currently, Ahmed's research, in collaboration with WWA, focuses on a novel application of a state-of-the-science land model, the Community Terrestrial Systems Model (CTSM), to investigate water and environmental sustainability in the American Southwest.
