Flash flood watches and warnings are issued for days 1-3 for southern Utah. Flash flood forecast sites are for national parks and areas where people recreate in slot canyons, where flash flood risk is highest. Flash flood danger ratings (not expected, possible, probable and expected) are issued May 1st through October 31st. Data is provided by the NOAA National Weather Service Weather Forecasting Office in Salt Lake City.
