Snowfall Climatology

This interactive tool shows the annual average number of 1-, 2-, or 3-day periods with snow totals at certain thresholds. Stations are limited so use the one closest to your location as a proxy. Tool developed by the NOAA Midwestern Regional Climate Center.

1. Position map to area of interest. 2. On left side of screen, select Average -- # of days of interest -- threshold -- all months (or month of your choice). 3. Click on an individual station to receive more information. This information request is highlighted in blue. Additional information is shown below it and can be expanded by clicking Table of All Values.
