Intermountain West Climate Summary
The Intermountain West Climate Summary is a product designed to provide the latest climate information in a simple compact document aimed at water managers. Each information or forecast page is annotated in the hope of making the information easier to understand. We have two main purposes: first, to provide climate information, in the form of graphics, current conditions, forecasts, verifications, and focus articles, to our stakeholders in the water community in a format that is easy to read, understand, and access. Second, by improving the level of knowledge and understanding about forecasts as well as climate phenomena, we hope to develop a better dialogue between WWA researchers, potential users, and operational providers of climate information, in order to better understand the need for climate information and to improve climate services.
