Curriculum Vitae

Summary:  Nolan Doesken has been with the Colorado Climate Center at Colorado State University since 1977 and has been the State Climatologist since 2006.  His interests and expertise include climate observing systems, climate data analysis, snow, drought, heavy precipitation, water resources, climate history, agriculture, and many other aspects of applied climatology.  He helped establish a volunteer "Citizen Science" project called the Community Collaborative Rain, Hail and Snow network (CoCoRaHS) which has now become an important nationwide precipitation monitoring network.
